Before leaving Canada in 2020 to definitely be living in Ometepe, one of my favorite relaxing activity, was to take long walk into the neighboring old growth forest close to where I was living; collecting edible mushrooms, identifying plants, and bringing groups showing the most beautiful spots I've encountered.
Since in Ometepe, I've been doing the same; exploring alone the natural beauty of the island, the remote spots that even locals don't knows about, and now bringing groups of nature lovers to again share the experience of discovering the pristine tropical natural settings of this beautiful island.
